I wanted to personally update you on the situation within The Copier Maintenance Company Ltd and how we are continuing to update our business continuity plans in this evolving situation.
All our decisions are driven by ensuring we protect the health and wellbeing of our employees, customers and the communities we serve.  Accordingly, given the latest advice and instructions from the UK Government, we are implementing the following actions aimed at reducing the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) contamination:

As of Monday, we have closed our office.  Fortunately, due to the way in which our business is set up, all but a very small number of employees have been able to work from home, so maintaining business continuity.  This continuity includes the provision of all incoming calls both to reception and service desk as well as being able to continue to fulfill any orders received.

With the safety of our engineering workforce in mind, we are now only able to attend any service calls which relate to Healthcare, the Emergency Services and other “Key Services” as defined by the UK Government. Unfortunately, this does mean that all other calls will be advised that we will not be able to attend until further notice.  As forecast, we have seen a dramatic reduction in incoming call and email volumes this week and as organisations around the country accelerate their own office closures, we expect this to fall further, minimising the direct impact to customers.

Please note that our processes relating to fulfillment have been amended such that any orders will only be dispatched after we have contacted you to confirm that your business will remain open to accept the delivery.

I appreciate that some of these actions may negatively impact your own organisation but hope that you understand we need to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and the people they come into contact with, wherever possible.

Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time, the number to call us on remains the same 0121 707 4833 with all calls being diverted to a member of our office team working from home.

Thank you and please take good care,

Best regards,
Mike Dainty
